Dr. Alvaro Castro Fernandez - Veterinarian

Dr. Alvaro Castro-Fernandez is originally from Columbia, South America, and he is a 1998 graduate from the University of Tolima.

Dr. Castro also received additional training in the field of Veterinary Medicine in Mexico, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Ontario, Canada. He is an enthusiastic and dedicated companion animal veterinarian with strong interest in emergency, internal medicine and surgery. He focuses on building long term relationships with clients and colleagues.

Dr. Castro is bilingual (English/Spanish), and is prepared to enhance the client experience with excellent communication skills.

In his spare time, Dr. Castro enjoys traveling and seeing as much of the world he can. He has lived in the Charlotte area since 2012, and shares his home with his lovely kitty Ian, a survivor of the devastating Hurricane Ian in 2022.
